Kehinde Wiley's portrait of Barack Obama and Amy Sherald's portrait of Michelle Obama will be on display at the Brooklyn Museum through October 24th.

This is the first time these two paintings — made 200 years apart — have been placed side by side.

This is the artist's first work of public art and his first major piece since his portrait of President Obama.
