Clark served 37 years in prison, and lawmakers have cited her transformation and remorse as justification for her release.

Clark's sentence was commuted last year by Governor Cuomo, which made her eligible for parole.

"She is very excited but she is aware that this news will be painful and difficult to those who lost loved ones in the Brinks robbery," Clark's attorney said.
