Attorneys for the country duo Sugarland say the people who were injured in that horrific stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair last August are partially to blame for getting hurt.

Because it was not technically a "structure," the stage and scaffolding that collapsed and killed 5 people at the Indiana State Fair on Saturday was not subject to any inspection or regulation whatsoever.

A similar outdoor event just 15 miles from the State Fairgrounds was cancelled due to concerns about the weather.

Five people are dead and more than 40 remain hospitalized with their injuries after the main stage at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis collapsed moments before the main event was scheduled to take place.
