Famed Eggslut chef Alvin Cailan is finally getting a proper full-service restaurant in New York City.

Instead of runny egg sandwiches, Chefs Club Counter will serve open faced tartine sandwiches designed by chef Alvin Cailan.

Hopeful diners had been waiting since 6:45 a.m. to score one of the LA transplant's signature egg sandwiches.

Eggslut comes to town for three months starting Friday, featuring an NYC-centric new sandwich called SoHo Salmon.
