Stop me if you've heard this one before.

After an abundance of rain across the area yesterday (generally between one and two inches), we are set for a couple of very dry days.

Columbus Day got off to a chilly start with a morning low of 47 degrees in Central Park. That's the first time the temperature has been below 50 since May 16th.

But a mid-week front is expected to bring the coolest weather we've had in several months.

The temperature dipped below 70 degrees this morning for the first time in three weeks.

A cold front passed through the city early this morning, heralding the arrival of a much drier air mass.

A high pressure system over the Great Lakes will bring very refreshing weather the next couple of days.

This is shaping up to be a very quiet week of weather.

The daily average temperature in Central Park has been below average for thirteen consecutive days, but that's all about to change.

Here comes the first frost of the season!
