David Villalobos told cops he jumped because he wanted "to be one with the tiger," but his mother thinks it's because he had a dangerous addiction to Adderall.

Villalobos is apparently guilty of thoroughly enjoying his 15 minutes of fame after he was mauled by a tiger: "This is a good thing that happened; maybe I can make some money, write a book."

Villalobos told police yesterday that he wasn't suicidal at all; when asked why he jumped, he said “everybody in life makes choices,” adding that he wanted "to be one with the tiger."

Victim David Villalobos reportedly told people he jumped in on purpose because "he wanted to die." "He’s amazing and he loves everybody," said the victim’s sister. "I really don’t know what happened."
