COVID vaccine

It’s no longer certain that all educators will have to be vaccinated by the September 27th deadline the mayor had set.

According to state officials, the bookings involved the state-run site at Stony Brook University Hospital on Long Island.

"You’re going to see more and more of this," Cuomo predicted on Monday. "It’s almost an inevitable function of human nature and of the market place."

“Sometimes we feel like we are the forgotten ones, and it's just amazing that we can get the vaccine at the same time other people are getting it,” said Gemma John, who was the first nurse at Brookdale to get vaccinated.

There was no vaccine in the vial, but it was still vaccine theater.

The state is expecting additional allocations of the Pfizer vaccine, as well as the Moderna vaccine, later in the month or in early January as well.
