Some New Yorkers and Jerseyans are fighting charges of hundreds of dollars for tests they thought would be free.

CityMD and GoHealth are adding charges, while CVS will keep these services free as it hopes for a new federal bill.

Official testing numbers have been cut nearly in half over two weeks. Last year, a similar drop took six months.

The closures took effect Wednesday, and CityMD did not say when the shuttered sites will reopen, only that it will notify patients when the time comes.

"We’ve been here over two hours, so I’m pretty angry," said Amy Lee, a 27-year-old nurse in Manhattan, as she inched closer to the door of the CityMD on Delancey Street.

"To be treated like this has been really eye opening," one CityMD medical scribe said.
