The dramatic Democratic loss in the 9th District yesterday isn't a sign that Obama's a one-term president, Democrats insist. Jon Stewart places the blame directly on Anthony Weiner's junk.

Bob Turner, a Queens businessman, crushed the presumptive heir to Anthony Weiner's vacated House seat yesterday, winning by a margin of more than eight percent. He says he's The Messenger.

Turner said after Koch's slight, "He's a great man. I'm not going to take issue with a couple of political shots in the grand scheme of things."

Koch will make "an announcement" to the press at 11 a.m. on Monday. "I'll be endorsing [Turner], but you'll have to come to get the reason," he said.

With Weiner withdrawn, focus is quickly turning to his possibly lame-duck congressional seat in the ninth district.

Anthony Weiner resigned this afternoon but he's not out of the news cycle yet.
