Taste of 7th: East 7th Street between 1st Avenue and Avenue A has certainly come a long way in the past few years, becoming the center of all things delicious in the East Village. On Saturday and Sunday, Scoop St is throwing down with the "Taste of 7th Street." By buying one $18 ticket, you'll be able to taste one arepa from Caracas, one small lobster roll from Luke's Lobster, one small sandwich from Porchetta, two Butter Lane cupcakes and a smoothie from Xoom, all at a total discount of 50%. The ticket also gets you $1 off beers at Jimmys No. 43, Burp Castle and Standings Bar. It's a pretty sweet deal. 377 tickets have been sold so far, and the last day to buy tickets is this Thursday!
