A woman was fatally struck by a train in Harlem this morning. According to the FDNY, the incident happened just around 8:15 a.m. at the 125th Street station near Broadway. Police say the woman, who has not been identified, was struck by a southbound 3 train. She was declared DOA at the scene.
Cops add that the woman was apparently on the tracks, about 200 feet north of the station when it arrived, and did not jump. No criminality is suspected, and cops are trying to determine what the woman was doing on the tracks initially.
