An unidentified woman was struck and killed by a 3 train at the Crown Heights-Utica Avenue Station this morning after reportedly fainting on the platform.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident: they say the woman was hit shortly after 10 a.m., and was pronounced DOA. Southbound 3 trains are currently running express from Atlantic Avenue to Utica Avenue, and both Brooklyn-bound 3 and 4 trains are bypassing Utica Avenue. To be sure, this isn't the first time someone has been killed by a train after fainting: in 2011, a woman was killed by a 6 train at the 77th Street stop in Manhattan when she fainted on the platform.
