NY1 is reporting delays of a half hour in both directions on the George Washington Bridge because the extreme winds reportedly blew debris from a Manhattan building onto a vehicle. Details are scant, but one report from Twitter user @VicManRodCar1 goes a little something like this: "A brick fell from George Washington bridge threw a Benz wagon destroying front windshield, what the fuck listen to the kid." WTF, indeed.

These must be some serious gusts if they're knocking bricks loose from a bridge that doesn't have any, but they did warn us! The Office of Emergency Management issued a High Wind Warning for NYC until 11 p.m., and wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour are anticipated. And the Department of Buildings is urging NYC residents to take down their satellite dishes, bring their gas grills or propane tanks inside, and secure retractable awnings. And Dorothy! Where's Dorothy?!
