The Good Times Party Hall in Williamsburg decidedly did not live up to its name early this morning, when a man opened fire, wounding two late night revelers. Was this supermoon-related madness, or just normal Saturday night fever?
It's unclear why the assailant opened fire, but an unidentified man was shot in the forearm and a woman was hit in the groin. Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital for their wounds, but neither injury was life-threatening. Custodian Martin Flores and his wife Maria were left cleaning up the hall today, which was filled with spatters of blood, shards of broken glass, and a shattered front door, in anticipation of an afternoon birthday party for a five-year-old. "Of course this would happen on my son’s birthday...The floor needs to be mopped, that’s for sure," said trucker Gregory Mitchell, father of the birthday boy.
