Baker Moises Mendez sued the Westin Hotel for $38 million in damages because his mean co-workers called him a vulgar nickname to mock his surgical scars from intestinal surgery. He also claimed that they repeatedly threatened him, punched him, and subjected him to racial slurs when he worked at the Times Square hotel. But according to the Daily News, it wasn't the bullying that swayed the jury to award him $3 million yesterday, but the fact that his bosses installed a hidden camera over his work station after he complained! "They spied on me and wanted to find ways to get rid of me," said Mendez, who still works there. Despite the payout, his lawyer says Mendez plans to show up for work today, presumably smiling for the camera with hundred dollar bills poking out of his toque.
