The one player in former Congressman Anthony Weiner's downfall that everyone wants to hear from is his pregnant wife, Huma Abedin. But she has not been seen at any public appearances with Weiner—not at his Twitter crotch shot confession nor at his resignation, though she was spotted with him at a grocery store. Now, the Post reports she "feels hopelessly trapped in her marriage to the disgraced pol, whose online antics have completely disgusted her once-supportive family," according to a source. (The Post's sub-headline: "Huma feels cornered carrying Weiner bun.")

The source does not split hairs, "He could be having sex live on TV for the whole world to watch and she'd still feel like she'd have to stay with him for now." Additionally, the source claims that Abedin's Muslim family had initially supported Weiner because he said he was hacked, but the Post reports, "Nothing prepared the close-knit and devout Muslim family for the release of close-ups of Weiner's genitalia, which were unleashed online by radio shock jocks "Opie & Anthony" after one of his cybermistresses leaked it to the press." The source says, "No one in her family wants to put any pressure on her to make any decisions now when she is still in her first trimester."

Abedin probably has other stuff on her mind, like ignoring interviews that Weiner's sexting partners are giving. Gym teacher Traci Nobles told the Today show that she started chatting with him on Facebook after seeing him online and they also Skyped; Nobles says she doesn't regret it, "It was more than just sexual. We exchanged music or talked about life in general. It wasn't really personal as far as going into personal lives or that sort of thing." But their conversations were also sexual:

A source told the Daily News that Abedin is "frozen, beyond numb" over her husband's embarrassing transgressions, and another said, "She deserves better."
