Excuse us if we're still drunk from yesterday's excessively nice weather. Oh, who are we kidding, we're just drunk. Anyway, Thursday's high of 71 made it the warmest day of non-winter and the warmest in nearly five months. The last time the temperature was over 70 degrees was on October 11th.
Because the cold front didn't get here until after midnight, today's high already happened. It was 63 degrees at 1 a.m. We'll be lucky to see 50 this afternoon. While mostly sunny skies will shine on the city, points north may see clouds, and perhaps a brief shower, thanks to a quck-moving upper-level disturbance. Temperatures tomorrow should be very average with a high in the mid 40s under breezy, sunny skies.
The next warm up begins anew on Sunday, when the high pressure system that's over us now moves slightly eastward. Look for a high in the lower 60s on Sunday (don't forget to change your clocks) followed by the mid 60s on Monday. Press the repeat button to get Tuesday's forecast. The next chance of rain looks to be Tuesday night or Wednesday.
