In recent years, Lakers guard Metta World Peace—aka Ron Artest—has been very open about his battles with mental health. We're talking about an NBA star who thanked his psychiatrist after winning an NBA championship. And when he's not giving sartorial advice to Jeremy Lin or clotheslining opponents, World Peace is participating in charity events or making mental health PSA's....not that those PSA's always make sense. In the video made for non-profit Limelight Mental Health, Peace stars as 'Metta Man,' a skateboarding superhero who flies through the very poorly green-screened/photoshopped New York City skyline. Among other things, the video features a Cooper Mini, a Buddhist, a 40 pound curling stone, and a Larry King...thing. World Peace makes a backboard-shattering, graphics-defying dunk before declaring: "I may do some wild things at times. But there's something I'm really serious about: Mental health."
