Four residents in upper Manhattan are reeling after a cat burglar struck in three different buildings over five hours to break into their apartments. Police have released surveillance footage of suspect, seen climbing down from a fire escape:

According to the NYPD, the incidents all occurred between 8:15 p.m. on March 15 and 12:36 a.m. on March 16, with the suspect accessing the locations from the same rear alley for all the buildings—according to the Post, he took jewelry, cash and electronics from three of the apartments (the ones he hit at 8:15 p.m., 11:15 p.m. and 12:36 a.m.) but left one apartment that he entered at 11:30 p.m. without taking anything.
