Tim Tebow is without a doubt the most popular backup quarterback in all of professional football—he's popular enough here that he's inspired Hudson Valley Assembly Republicans into Tebowing outside the Assembly chair chamber. And Jets head coach Rex Ryan got his first taste of the cultural backwash that comes with his polarizing new quarterback when two men Tebowed him at an LSU bar in Baton Rouge, La. Ryan of course takes the surprise Tebowing in good stride (also: the photoshopped picture at the end of the video was taken from our post yesterday). Earlier in the day, Ryan weighed in on the high profile acquisition: “I look at it this way: We're incredibly fortunate to have a couple of quarterbacks with playoff wins. Obviously, both have been fairly successful...I think he's [Sanchez] going to be a tremendous quarterback. He is our quarterback...What Tim gives us is another great competitor. He'll fit right in with the guys we already have." Which is a funny way of putting it, considering that The Onion reports Tebow was "visibly distraught" when trying to describe his first conversation with the colorfully expressive foot-fetishist.
