With all this talk of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's political "hotness," someone was bound to take the metaphor at face value. At one of Christie's favored town hall meetings in solidly Republican Sussex County, a woman told the Governor how she thought his brusque style and his "perseverance to do what's right" makes him "hot and sexy." Watch in awe:

No word on whether this lady is a Rubens scholar or swooned for Dick Nixon over David Cassidy, but a story in today's NY Times notes that despite Christie playing "fast and loose" with the facts to maintain his momentum since taking office, voters don't seem to care. "He's been adept at getting the public to believe what he says," notes one political science professor at Montclair State. Perhaps Sussex County isn't the only one to think that the governor's weight means there's just more of him to love?
