Police released video of a Chinese food deliveryman being beaten by three men in a Morningside Heights apartment building's hallway; a fourth man acts as a lookout. The assault occurred on Friday afternoon; according to NY1, "Police say they ordered Chinese food, then waited outside the sixth-floor elevator for the deliveryman to arrive."

The suspects tried to rob the deliveryman, while kicking and punching him, but ran away before taking his wallet. Police say the suspects, who are between 15 and 19 years old, ran to Morningside Park.

There are clear pictures of the suspects from the video; a resident of the building, 40 Morningside Avenue, told WCBS 2, "I’m ashamed as a citizen. People thought they could get away with it." The deliveryman suffered facial injuries from the attack.

Food deliverymen have been targets before: In 2008, a Chinese food deliveryman was fatally shot in the Bronx and in 2004, two teens killed a Queens Chinese food deliveryman.
