A woman who lives above a chihuahua owner is suing the dog lover and her building for $500,000 because the dogs' barking is upsetting her—giving the Post the opportunity to run with a "YO QUIERO 500G FOR YAPPY CHIHUAHUAS" headline. According to the paper, Paulette Taylor feels that Theodore Henderson's two dogs "bark in a manner that is offensive, constant, continuous and incessant." She thinks Henderson may also be "inciting his Chihuahuas to bark," leaving her so frazzled she can't sleep! The Daily News has more details from the suit: "Continuously subjected to the ongoing whining, barking, yapping and squealing of [Henderson's] Chihuahua dogs, [Taylor] was bedridden for nearly one week." And the building management at 382 Central Park West hasn't listened to her concerns either, Taylor's lawyer claims, adding, "We're asking for a restraining order against the dogs [or] some sort of soundproofing" to block the barking from coming into Taylor's apartment."
