We were almost starting to feel bad for terrifyingly-virile Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie: the NFL Players’ Association President Kevin Mawae recently used him as an example of NFL players who are dumb, and his ex-fiance has written a tell-all "novel" about him. And despite not naming him in the book, she did confirm to the Post it's all about him, which makes certain glaring details stand out all the more.
In the recently released book, "Love, Intercepted: A Tale of Football, Falling and Failing in Love," corporate lawyer and former Miss Black North Carolina Rhonda Patterson reveals that she witnessed Cromartie strike one of his nine children, "so hard in the chest that he fell to the floor." She also says he smokes pot regularly, and has successfully avoided mandated NFL drug tests. On the plus side, fellow Jets cornerback Darelle Revis still likes him.
