Police are looking for a man who pushed a teen girl onto the subway tracks in Queens as a train was approaching yesterday.

The incident happened around 8:30 pm. Saturday at the 103rd Street-Corona Plaza elevated station. The 17-year-old victim was waiting for a Manhattan-bound 7 train when the suspect approached her from behind and pushed her onto the tracks as the train was arriving. The motorman thankfully saw her on the tracks and was able to activate the emergency brake.

The teen was able to position herself between the platform and wheels of the train. She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with minor injuries.

The suspect fled the area after pushing the teen: “I saw this guy running and he pushed the woman onto the tracks and ran off. He didn't stop." witness Kasandra Veintimilla told the Daily News. You can see a short surveillance video of him below.

Police describe the suspect as Hispanic male, approximately mid-to-late 20's, 5'5", last seen wearing a black jacket, white t-shirt, gray pants and white sneakers.

Two people were also injured after being struck by an M train in Brooklyn early Saturday morning; at least one of those victims had his hand severed by the train.
