A teenage girl was injured in a shooting at a McDonald’s in Brooklyn Monday night, according to the NYPD.

The 17-year-old was struck multiple times just before midnight after someone opened fire at the restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue and Linden Boulevard in East New York, police said. No one else was injured, according to officials.

First responders took her to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.

NYPD officials did not immediately have a description of a suspect and said they were still investigating a motive.

Police data shows that shooting incidents are up slightly this year in the 75th precinct, which includes East New York. Citywide, gun violence is down by almost 6% compared to the same time period last year.

This is a developing story and may be updated.
