Do these two things look the same to you? Glassblower Tom Patti filed suit against Sean "Diddy" Combs last year for copyright infringement, claiming Combs stole the design for his Unforgivable fragrance bottle from his 1981 glass piece. The 65-year-old explained, "Everywhere I went, people started congratulating me on the success of my fragrance container. I didn't know what they were talking about. Eventually, I realized that Combs had replicated my work."

Allegedly it was Urban Glass Quarterly magazine that first approached Patti with the idea the bottle was too similar in design to his work—and more recently, that magazine ran an article suggesting the same.

Now Combs' lawyers have filed papers in Brooklyn federal court asking that the magazine reveal their notes and sources for the article. They say it "appears to have been conceived entirely by the Glass Quarterly parties, who approached [Patti]... with a suggestion that [Diddy's] fragrance package copied Tom Patti's works." According to the NY Post, "Combs' lawyers aim to prove that the mag planted the idea for the suit in the artist's mind."
