The Brooklyn teacher's aide who was arrested twice last month for allegedly possessing and producing child pornography has been indicted by a federal grand jury for molesting a young boy, recording the attacks, and distributing the video over the internet. Taleek Brooks (aka Tyleek Brooks), a former teacher's aide at PS 243 (The Weeksville School), was charged today with several counts of sexual exploitation of a child, possessing child pornography, and distributing the materials to other alleged pedophiles via file-sharing sites.
Investigators found over 1,000 digital files of children as young as 10 posing in explicit photos on Brooks home computer. They later discovered video of Brooks molesting at least one young boy that they believe took place between Sept. 2009 and April 2010 inside PS 243 in Bedford-Stuyvesant. In the videos, prosecutors say Brooks can be seen allegedly spanking one naked child and fondling another in a classroom.

FBI agents say they discovered Brooks in an internet chat room last year stating that he was "interested in black boys 10 years old and older." Brooks, who has worked at PS 243 since 2001, also supervised an all-boys dance group at PS 243 called "Freestylers" and took kids out to movies and pizza. He is being held without bail; he faces a minimum of 15 years in jail if convicted.
