More than six months after shots rang out in the dearly departed Juliet Supper Club in Chelsea, leaving one dead and two injured, police have arrested their main suspect after he turned himself in this weekend. Victor Walker, 47, who has been a suspect since last fall, was charged with murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon, according to the NYPD.

Early on the morning of Tuesday, November 15, police say Victor Walker shot Artis Arthur, 43, three times in the back inside the packed club. In the process he also shot Jonai Washington, 27, and shot and paralyzed Tracy Ryals, 28. That night the place was filled with high-profile guests, including actor Ryan Phillippe, singer Estelle, and New York Giants Chris Canty, Victor Cruz, Antrel Rolle and Aaron Ross (who were celebrating Cruz's birthday).

The motive for the shooting is not entirely clear, but it may have been to "send a message" of some sort. According to earlier reports, Arthur and Walker were a part of a crew that would rob high-profile guests at fancy nightclubs. Apparently famous people like Busta Rhymes and Cam'Ron were less likely to go to the police after being robbed than regular folks.
