One of the survivors of a horrific Brooklyn collision that left three dead and three others injured spoke to the Daily News. The woman said, "I was sitting in the front next to my boyfriend. We were on our way back from a party." Her boyfriend, Jonathan Sade, 21, died in the crash, and police say he was speeding when he crashed into another car, killing its driver and passenger.

Sade, 21, was driving a black Acura eastbound on Avenue U when he allegedly ran a red light at East 5th Street at a "high rate of speed," according to the NYPD. Sade hit a red Toyota Camry that was going north on the driver's side. Sade's Acura then hit two parked cars while the Camry hit a MTA bus and another car.

The Camry's driver, Andre Capers-Jones, 26, was killed as was passenger Leonora Lavaud, 24. Sade died from the crash, and one of his male passengers was ejected from the car. His girlfriend, who needed to be extricated from the car, said to the News, "I feel like I’m in a nightmare I can’t wake up from... We were going home. We were just having a good time. We weren’t drinking or anything. It was just a get-together."

However, the Post reports that Lavaud's parents spoke to the police, who told them that Sade was going around 70 MPH. Lavaud was a student at Brooklyn College while Capers-Jones had received an associate's degree from Brooklyn College and was interested in becoming a teacher for children with special needs. His aunt told the NY Times, "He lived a short life. But he was happy."
