MTA workers cleaning near the Deer Park Long Island Rail Road station made a horrifying find: Apparently 12 black plastic bags had the remains of goats, chickens and roosters. Suffolk County SPCA chief Roy Gross told WCBS 2, "All of the animals were decapitated. Approximately 20 in all.”
The bags were on Long Island Avenue near Executive Drive between Commack Road and the Deer Park train station. Gross said, "This may have occurred over a period of time, that these parts were dumped there, because of the different states of decomposition." Here's a very graphic image of one of the remains (link). The Suffolk County SPCA asks anyone with information to contact them at (631) 382-7722.
