On Monday we took a closer look at Kimora Lee Simmons not-quite-legal parking placard. Not surprisingly, it turns out the diva doesn't do much "official business" for the city, but rather uses the permit for choice parking spots in front of her favorite shops. Shocking.
The NY Post reports that the "placard was a gift from a jail guard who moonlights as her chauffeur." The fashionista won't face any repercussions for using the permit illegally, however, as it wasn't technically hers. Her chauffeur, and 10-year department vet, will likely only face a fine, as he legally acquired the pass (though he should have returned it when he left his prior position).
Rest easy though, New Yorkers, Simmons won't be scoring any special spots anytime soon, as the city pulled the permit.
