While the Daily News apparently got the scoop on Ruth Madoff's move to Greenwich, Connecticut, the Post is making an attempt to put itself back at the front of the Mrs. Madoff pack by publishing this amazing photograph of her dragging her garbage can with the headline: "Ruth Madoff’s trashy new life."
According to the Post, "Ruth recently began living in the Old Greenwich house owned by her surviving son, Andrew, and just glared when a Post lensman caught her doing chores." Which is way more restrained than when a Post photographer caught her riding the F train in 2009—back then, she yelled, "Are you having fun embarrassing me—and ruining my life?" (Duh!)
One neighbor simply told the Post, “I’m going to let her have her peace," but the trustee trying to get back money for victims of Bernard Madoff's Ponzi scheme believes that Andrew Madoff took $60 million in ill-gotten gains.
