Former Rikers guard, 33-year-old probationary employee Amelia Negron, claimed she was axed after being wrongfully accused of trying to catch a glimpse of Lil Wayne. The rapper is currently serving time there... but you probably know that from his prison blog.

Negron says she was forced to confess to the incident, which happened on March 10th, but in reality never tried to sneak a peek at the rapper. She told the Daily News, "I don't even like rap. I like rock and alternative music and didn't know much about him when they said I tried to see him. None of it's true."

According to her story, she had just popped into his unit, which was unlocked, to say hello to a colleague. She was immediately told, "Hey, you can't be here. We've got a celeb here." At that, she allegedly turned and left... but some higher-ups say she was trying to get close to Lil Wayne; later she was threatened with criminal charges, a transfer and suspension.

On April 19th she was fired by the city Department of Corrections, who say she had missed too many days of work. Negron says she missed the days due to an injury she suffered at the firing range, when she was struck by an officer's gunfire. And now there's only one way to sort this all out: a lawsuit! She's filing a federal suit claiming she was a victim of discrimination and harassment.
