A man was arrested in Times Square after he allegedly smacked a police officer's horse on the butt. The horse apparently "lurched forward," endangering the cop and others.
Police sources told the Post that Bronx resident Victor Flores, 32, spooked the horse at West 47th and Seventh Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the tabloid's sources, "The jolted horse could have tossed his human partner, Officer Jabez Kong, into the crowed street or oncoming traffic."
Not only was Flores charged with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, he was hit with a drug possession rap after police reportedly found him with "a bag of cocaine." Flores also apparently seemed intoxicated.
The Post adds that Flores told cops, "I don’t get it, tourists pet the horses all the time. I don’t get why I am in trouble for this. I was just saying hello... I’m really sorry officer. I was drunk."
