Police are looking for a bearded man who attempted to kidnap a six-year-old yesterday. The incident took place near The Equality Charter School at 4140 Hutchinson River Parkway in the Bronx around 7 a.m. Friday. The suspect (who is said to be in his 50s) approached the six-year-old victim, grabbed him by the arm, and told him to come with him to his house.
A 34-year-old male passerby intervened and the suspect fled. Police describe the suspect as a 6'2" tall black male with a dark complexion, thick grey & white beard & mustache, wearing a black baseball cap, green camouflage pants and black boots.
