A Queens woman is in critical condition after her husband allegedly stabbed her in the head several times with a meat cleaver. According to police, the attack happened around 5:45 a.m. today in the couple's Parsons Blvd. apartment.
According to the News, when police arrived, they found the victim bleeding heavily from multiple head stab wounds. The weapon was recovered at the scene, and the victim was taken to New York Hospital-Queens. The initial police report said that a good Samaritan stopped the husband; NBC reports the husband was arrested without incident at the scene.
