Back in January an elderly Staten Island couple and their son were viciously attacked in the entryway to their Tompkinsville building by a man and a woman looking for cash. The thieves eventually walked away with $18, but they left Linda and Joseph Naimo beaten and bloody. A few weeks after, the 75-year-old Linda passed on, possibly due to the attack. Now, three months later, police working off a tip have arrested two suspects in the case.

Antoine Means, 35, and Sharon Montgomery, 49, are being charged with assault, robbery, and burglary in the case. Their charges may also be upgraded to murder in the future (Linda's autopsy results were inconclusive). Means already has 10 prior arrests, including weapons and drug possession.

In the attack, which took place on Joseph Naimo's 81st birthday in the Staten Island building the Naimo's lived in and ran their shop out of, Linda was left with a fractured skull, a broken nose and a 2-inch gash on her forehead.
