Thus ends our 19 days without snow. Things are finally back to normal! NY1 reports that the Department of Sanitation is bringing in 500 workers overnight to operate salt spreaders. A second storm is expected to hit the Northeast tonight, but right now meteorologists expect it to push farther south than the first one and bypass NYC.
So go, enjoy. Drink hot chocolate and go ice skating and roll around in a snowbank with your significant other/pet. This might be your last chance to play in the snow until... Sunday.
