Yankees Prepare For Decisive Game 6 Tonight

Phil Hughes will start tonight for the Yankees. He gave up seven runs in four innings in a Game 2 loss. However, Game 5 winner CC Sabathia will be available to come out of the bullpen if needed.

Nick Swisher changed how he wore his pants for Game 5, and the Yankees were happy with the results: a home run, walk, and another run scored. "Gardy and Grandy finally got me to go pants-up. I might have to do it again," he told the News. The Yankees just have to make sure no one asks him about Cliff Lee: when the Rangers ace came up in conversation in the locker room, Swisher made it clear he didn't care for him. "[Expletive], who cares? I can't wait to hit against his [behind]...I'm not talking about Cliff Lee. I don't give a [expletive]."

A-Rod might want to pay a little more attention to who is running on the field tonight, in case another Grim LeRogue tries to defend Cameron Diaz's honor. "The first I heard of it was when I saw it on the cover of the paper. I saw he was very upset, though. It's not a good feeling,' he told reporters.

The Rangers may want to watch out for rowdy Yankee fans as well, after what happened during Game 3's 8-0 shellacking. According to CrossingBroad, TBS cameras caught a stadium attendant picking up bottles, debris, and a foam finger from the Rangers' bullpen as Yankees fans chorused an "asshole" chant.
