<p>September 29, 2006: Crane rigging from a Toll Brothers development at Third Avenue and 13th Street <a href="http://gothamist.com/2006/09/29/crane_attacks_c.php">fell to the street, crushing a cab</a>. Somehow the cab's driver and passenger <a href="http://gothamist.com/2006/09/30/crane.php">were uninjured</a>.</p>
<p>January 14, 2008: At the Trump Soho, <a href="http://gothamist.com/2008/01/15/construction_wo_1.php">concrete molds break</a>, <a href="http://gothamist.com/2008/01/14/breaking_collap.php">causing a construction worker to fall 42 stories</a> to his death. The site had <a href="http://gothamist.com/2008/01/16/violations_subs.php">many building violations</a> and others suggested the construction work was sub-standard.</p>
