Today has been all about the Space Shuttle Enterprise—we've been eagerly following as it has flown all around NYC (looping several times). And now, it's finally landed at JFK airport—and our photographer Katie Sokoler is on hand for it.
As for what's next for everyone's favorite pre-federation Enterprise, the shuttle will be stored in a hangar at JFK until June, and then will travel by barge up the Hudson to its new permanent home at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.
