Several hundred Bernie Sanders supporters marched from Union Square to Zuccotti Park yesterday afternoon, taking over much of Broadway along the way and filling lower Manhattan with chants, songs, and cries of "Feel the Bern".

Though many of the slogans and signs promised revolution, the mood was more festive than angry, and the march's NYPD escorts, which included a contingent from the department's controversial Strategic Response Group, acted in an non-confrontational manner and didn't have much to do beyond directing traffic.

After the march, the news from South Carolina was deflating for Sanders fans, with Hillary Clinton taking 74% of the vote there. Next up is Super Tuesday, when there are 1,034 delegates up for grabs as Democratic voters go to the polls in 11 states and territories.

The organizers of yesterday's march, Movement4Bernie, are holding a Watch Party that night at the Cherry Tree Bar in Gowanus. The New York Democratic primary is on April 19th.
