A touching follow-up to last November's tragic, fatal shooting at a NJ church. A man killed his estranged wife (who had a restraining order out on him) and another churchgoer, 25-year-old Dennis John Malloosseril, who tried to intervene. Malloosseril's parents decided to donate his organs, and, yesterday, his family met the five people who received them. The Star-Ledger reported his mother listened to her son's heart beating in 57-year-old James O'Hea's chest; O'Hea said, "I will do my best to be the kind of person he would've been." And Malta Hameed, who received his liver, said, "I wish I could've known him. He died a hero. That's how I see it. He saved all of us." The Star-Ledger also has video of the meeting; his mother said she hoped the organ recipients would enjoy their lives.
