Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man wanted for a subway scissor attack that occurred last week.

Police say that on June 1, 2012, around 2:15 a.m., two men got into a verbal dispute on a northbound D train at 125th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Afterwards, one slashed the other in the head and arm with a pair of scissors. The victim, 30, was taken to St. Luke's Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Cops shared photos of the suspect and say he's a black male in his 30s, about 180 pounds with a pockmarked face, who was wearing a yellow jacket with the word "Brazil" on the back and black pants.
