An NYPD detective is still on the job after being accused of making sexual advances on a rape victim during an investigation. The unidentified victim was attending college in NYC when she was raped by a man in his Union Square apartment in January 2013; after reporting the rape to police she relocated to Seattle, where, six months later, Detective-in-training Lukasz Skorzewski traveled to interview her with his boss, Lt. Adam Lamboy. According to an exclusive and nauseating report in the Daily News, the interview was followed by drinking and groping by Skorzewski, who told the woman, "You're my favorite victim."

The woman says that the day after the first interview, she contacted the cops, who were still in town, because she had some followup questions. She says they pressured her into meeting them for drinks (you'll be "safe with us," they said) and that she later wound up in Skorzewski's taxpayer-funded hotel room—she'd realized her car was parked far away and Skorzewski had ever so kindly invited his favorite victim to spend the night. Still haven't coughed up your breakfast? Here we go:

The woman recalled Skorzewski took care of her and made sure she was OK. He told her, “You’re really cool. No, you’re awesome.” The aspiring detective let her have the bed and he slept on a couch all night, but she said the platonic relations didn’t last past breakfast.

In the morning, she says Skorzewski asked her if he could lie down and put his arm around her. Then he asked if he could kiss her. She froze, outraged at the suggestion.

He was married with two kids, she thought. And he was investigating her initial rape case. She said no — but then they started getting physical with each other. She said she told him she needed to leave her clothes on. Skorzewski laughed, she recalled. She had also told the man who raped her that she needed to keep her clothes on.

Skorzewski was aggressive, she said. “He really felt me up, tried to get his hands down my pants,” she told The News. “He was trying to put his hands down my pants or work them up my shorts.” She said she participated but then ended it. She got in the shower alone.

Skorzewski is walking the beat in Astoria now, ladies—he's married with two kids, but whatever. A year and half later, the NYPD says it's still investigating the NYPD officers' conduct.
