This Sunday, the NY Giants will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles to see who heads to the NFC Championship game. And the divisional playoff game has brought out forth some "friendly" wagering from Mayor Bloomberg and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter.

Should the Eagles win, New York will have to ship a "giant" cheesecake from Carnegie Deli to the City of Brotherly Love. But if the Giants prevail, the Big Apple will need a big appetite for "a sampling of five cheesesteaks from five popular cheesesteak shops across Philadelphia." Bloomberg said, "Whenever the Eagles come to town it's a big game, and the stakes are even higher when it's playoff time. This year, we took the first game, they won the second, and now it's time to settle the battle of cheesecake versus cheesesteak and see who earns the right to play for the NFC Championship."

Nutter engaged in a little more smacktalk, "Having already proven that Philadelphia has the best baseball team in the world, we look forward to the next step in Philadelphia sports history. We know the Giants are the current champions, but to be the best, you have to beat the best. While I can't predict the outcome of the game, I can say that I'm looking forward to a good slice of cheesecake." And if you're in the mood for some cheesesteak and can't make it to Philadelphia any time soon, head to Wogie's on Greenwich Avenue (near Charles Street).
