Of course, the libtards at the NY Times don't think this story is fit to print, so once again we must applaud the courage of the NY Post, which has published a bombshell report conclusively linking bike lanes to 9/11. Crazy conspiracy theory? That's what they said about the controlled demolition of WTC Building 7, but just take a moment to read this 800-plus comment thread, and all doubt will be dispelled. For years many on the Post's editorial board have speculated that DOT Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan was the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, but nobody was ever able to find a smoking gun—until now. Prepare to take the blinders off, sheeple:
In the Post's exclusive report, Sadik-Khan's motive for 9/11 has finally been exposed. And of course, it's all about the bike lanes. Although Sadik-Khan would not seize control of the DOT in a bloodless coup until 2007, her plot for total bike lane domination had been in the works for years. As the Post has tirelessly reported, Sadik-Khan's ultimate goal is to establish a bike lane caliphate in New York City, eventually expanding outward from New York until all of America is reduced to a single bike lane and pedestrian mall. But there was just one thing standing in Sadik-Khan's way: the World Trade Center and Fritz Koenig's sculpture "The Sphere." The twin towers were brought down to make way for bike lanes, but the damaged sculpture remained, like a perpetual boil on Sadik-Khan's zealous neck.
Now the Post reports that the final piece of the puzzle has fallen into place: The Sphere will be relocated as part of the Battery Garden Bikeway project, which will soon link the Hudson River Park Bikeway to the East River Esplanade. And it looks like Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe is in on it, too!
The cash-strapped Parks Department will spend millions of dollars to dig up and move more than 10 Battery Park memorials, statues and sculptures—including "The Sphere," which has stood as a tribute to 9/11 victims—to gussy up a new bicycle path, The Post has learned. Even as Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe is threatening to raise fees and lay off groundskeepers, he allocated $4.75 million for the project that would relocate the memorials—many unmoved for decades—along an expanded 600-yard Battery Park bikeway and "monument walk."
Everything is connected, so you won't be surprised to learn that President Barack Hussein Obama is also implicated. His administration's $2.5 million federal transportation grant was crucial in funding the $16 million project, and when the money came through, Warrie Price, president of the Battery Park Conservancy, told Downtown Express, "We’re thrilled. We will finally be able to link west to east." That's right folks, the bike lane to Battery Park runs right through Mecca.
Of course, the Parks Department is sticking to its cover story, telling the Post, "Monuments are being placed where they have the most effect as art, and their placement has nothing to do with the planned connection of the bike paths." Riiiiight. If you believe that, we've got great "news" footage of a man walking on the "moon" for ya!
