Last year Kecia Pitt sued the Nurturing Center, a Queens facility she’d entrusted with the care of her son. She claimed neglect, but now the daycare is fighting back accusing the disgruntled mom of defaming its good name by spreading flyers that satirically rename it "The Torturing Center." "Is your child often sick, have a lot of diaper rashes and cry out at night? Because they don't clean, change the babies or comfort them when they cry,” reads the copy. “The Nurturing Center is one of the WORST daycare centers I ever sent my son to."

Pitt first complained to owner Beverly Davis when she found her 15-month-old in the same diaper she dropped him off in, reports the Post. She sued for her tuition money claiming that employees would leave her son in a chair crying while others kids napped. "I just didn't like what I saw," she said. She won the case, but in June the damaging leaflets made their first appearance.

The $2 million lawsuit against Pitt claims she "intentionally and maliciously published lies about Mrs. Davis." The mom claims she had didn’t mastermind the smear campaign, and that many parents are unhappy. "[Davis is] just trying to get back at me because I'm the one who took her to small claims court," Pitt told the News. "I never passed out anything." But that seems unlikely since, along with pictures of playing children, the flyers contain the phrase, "Mrs. Davis has failed to return my tuition I won in Small Claims Court!"
