Last Friday we mentioned that today would be cold and possibly snowy. Well, the cold part came true but the snow ain't gonna happen. A high pressure system has settled in over New England and that will keep the snow to the south of the city. But even without the snow it is going to be a raw day. Look for cloudy skies, a high in the lower 30s and a northeast breeze that will make it feel much cooler. As the winds die down and the skies clear we will have another cold night tonight, but tomorrow should be sunny and warm to the lower 40s.

The next storm system will arrive on Wednesday as a cold front approaches from the west. Rain is expected to arrive Wednesday afternoon or evening and the high will be in the mid to upper 40s.

Spring arrives at 12:57 p.m. EDT on Thursday. To celebrate, Mother Nature should give us plenty of sun and a high in the lower 50s, which is about normal for this time of year. The warmish weather looks to continue on Friday and for at least part of Saturday but another storm is expected to bring rain later on Saturday and cooler weather will once again be here by the end of the weekend.
